In the heart of the San Salvador City, Capital, The GNRC comitee invite to all, childs, youngs and adults, women and men, to pray and celebrate the annual World Day of Prayer and Action for Children.

The event will take place in a Public Park, where every child are invited to join the celebration.

Religious leaders from five faiths will lead a multi-generational celebration featuring artistic and cultural activities such as singing, dancing and juggling. Performances will include a social message consistent with the objectives and work of the Global Network of Religions for Children.

The kite is the symbol for the celebration. Hundreds of kites will be raised as symbolic prayers after the ceremony.

Refreshments and snacks will be shared with childs during a small concert dedicated to childhood, child rights, and a culture of peace.

In El Salvador, more than 400 people from around the country participate in an event at Parque Cuscatlán, one of the most important parks in the capital city. The interfaith representatives from 7 traditions, as the youth from all religions and communities from 8 traditions, gather together to pray. The Jewish Rabbi addressed the first prayer, then GNRC youth explained about the Network and the DPAC. The beautiful voice of 2 little girls offered the LAC prayer and a prayer for child. A performance of Jiggling. A chorus with latin american music and instruments. A interfaith youth group who dance a special dance about unity, tolerance and peace. The arts, music and dance take place as special part of the program.
Our DPAC became the voice to unify the vision about social change, to tell to the Religious Leaders to take action and call out about a better environment for children, and also, to gather together, pray, sing and enjoy.

Every child got a kite as symbol of their own prayer.
