World Day of Prayer and Action in Tome, Chile

Between Tuesday 19 and Thursday 21 of November 2013, World Day activities took place in a public school in the city of Tomé in Southern Chile with children between the first and the fourth year of primary school (6-10 years old). After a short introduction, they created some drawings illustrating the World Day of Prayer and Action initiative. The celebration ended with a prayer with and for the children of the school.

On Sunday November 24, the Day of Prayer was celebrated in the Covenant Church Friends of the Mission with children between 3 and 12 years old. The children made arts and crafts to reflect on their human rights. The pastor of the church delivered a sermon on the topic based on the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 2 and concluded with a prayer for children of the church, the city, the country and the world.

Chile: In the city of Tome, The World Day of Prayer and Action for Children is celebrated with children between 3 and 12 years old.

On Sunday November 24, the Day of Prayer was celebrated with the children of the Church of the Covenant "Friends of the Mission" of the city of Tomé. Children performed manual activities to recognize the importance of the rights of the child. The pastor of the church preached a sermon on the topic, based on the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 2, and finished with a prayer for the children of the Church, the city, the country and the world.

The Day of Prayer and Action for Children was celebrated also in the Baptist Church of Santiago de Chile.
