Pope Francis gives speech to World Congress on Child Dignity in the Digital World

On 6 October 2017, Pope Francis addressed the participants of the inaugural World Congress on Child Dignity in the Digital World.

Hosted by the Centre for Child Protection at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, the four-day event brought together academic experts, business leaders, politicians, spiritual leaders, software company representatives, and medical experts from around the world. The goal of the congress was to raise awareness and mobilize global action against online sexual child abuse. Pope Francis spoke about the Church's role in the "effective protection of the dignity of minors in the digital world."
