Día Mundial de Oración y Acción por los niños y las niñas-Holguín

Prior to the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children, leaders, pastors, and members of many congregations gathered each consecutive Thursday for 5 weeks to pray for children with cancer.

Art instructors along with a group of brothers and sisters from different congregations took on the task of beautifying the grounds of the Children’s Hospital of the City of Parks with flowers, balloons, drawings and accessories for the celebration. Families, doctors and nurses, and a total of 275 children were all present for the event. Performances of song and skits were performed by children and a clown walked the venue entertaining the crowd. Ten year old Calvert led everyone in prayer for children across the globe.
