Who Celebrates the World Day?
Day of Prayer and Action for Children in Israel: Ending Violence Against Children
This year in an effort to raise awareness about Universal Children’s Day and about the rights of children, Open House and GNRC Israel will host activities with the theme of ending violence against children. The goal is to teach children how we can solve conflicts without using violence.
Throughout the month of November, 6 different schools in Ramle, 3 Jewish and 3 Arab, will participate in educational workshops sponsored by The Open House, Young Parliament Adult Group, and “City without Violence.”
The 20th of November will be a day of volunteering at Asaf Harofeh Hospital in addition to a big carnival for the children with games and activities, an inflatable castle playground, toys, and a lot of fun! The evening will be dedicated to a fundraising dinner for the children’s departments of Asaf Haropeh Hospital.
This initiative is facilitated by the Young Adult Parliament Group in Ramle that is working in cooperation with friends of Asaf Harofeh. For more information, please visit: http://www.assafh.org/sites/en/Friends/Pages/default.aspx
