Christ Church Interfaith Service

Christ Church of Montevideo, Uruguay held an Interfaith Worship Service on November 22nd. The service introduced Arigatou International- Prayer and Action as a new global link for their international church community. Local initiatives were also highlighted, including a youth-led presentation at the Legislative Palace of Montevideo. Also, Christ Church donated 10 soccer balls to centers working with at-risk youth, highlight the work of children’s home Hogar Amanecer, and present a musical video from Colombian songwriter Santiago Benavides. The church invited representatives from local NGOs, schools and institutions, and individuals specializing in children’s work. A light lunch was prepared by immigrant youth from China and West Africa to highlight their contribution to the community.
