World Day of Prayer and Action in Sao Paulo

Activity Recap

The Archdiocese of Sao Paulo brought together representatives of the Catholic, Presbyterian, Buddhist, Anglican and Umbanda faiths to celebrate the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children. The event took place in Santana Sector. Many activities were organized for children to raise awareness on the rights of the child. A special emphasis was made on the right of children to live in a healthy and safe environment. Children learnt how to plant seeds and take care of the plants. The children’s choir of the Presbyterian and Catholic Church also participated in the celebrations.
