Youth Parade

With participation from the Catholic Church (Early Childhood Pastoral), the Chamber of Commerce Association of Istmina, and the Skating Leagu of El Choco, nearly 200 people — half of these children and adolescents — gathered for a parade through the streets opf St. Augustin.

A youth music band accompanied the parade, which ended in front of the church where Father Ernesto Zapata led an interfaith prayer. After that, various recreational activities were available for the children and adolescents.

The event was also an opportunity to inaugurate the ecological kiosque built with the support of the GNRC, a space where youth and adults can gather safely to talk, play and organize recreational and educational activities.
