Youth groups are joining with faith organizations in a daylong celebration on 20 November in Pilar, near Buenos Aires. Passersby will be invited into an interactive maze highlighting children’s rights constructed by youth in the main square. There will be musical and theatrical events, along with performances and traditional games, all produced by children to describe their own experiences of discrimination and to illustrate the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Interfaith prayers will also be held, with members of different creeds offering personal prayers on behalf of children.
