On October 25th and 26th, Arigatou International participated as an observer civil society organization during the 97th Regular Meeting of the Directing Council of the Inter-American Children’s Institute, a specialized organization of the Organization of American States (IIN-OAS).

Our Program Officer, Ornella Barros, attended the annual meeting held in Kingston, Jamaica, where the highest child rights authorities from member States of the OAS were brought together to discuss pressing issues affecting children in the Americas and the action plan of the Interamerican Children’s Institute. It was an honor for Arigatou International to be invited to the meeting and an important opportunity to reinforce our commitment to promoting multi-stakeholder collaboration for children’s rights and well-being. We look forward to the upcoming XIII Pan American Congress, the Civil Society Forum, and the Children’s Forum in 2024.
