Dr. Nelson Arns Neumann has a degree in medicine from the Federal University of Parana, Brazil (1988), Master’s Degree in Epidemiologia from the Universidade Federal de Pelotas (1997) and Doctorate in Saúde Pública from the Universidade de São Paulo (2000). He worked as a lay missionary in Bacabal / MA, northeastern Brazil (1988-1989). Currently, Dr. Arns Neumann serves as the International Coordinator of Pastoral of the Child.
