Ceremony for Syrian Toddler

In collaboration with ENKAFED, the Journalist and Writers Foundation Women’s Platform invited elementary and middle school-aged students from Turkish, Greek, Armenian and Jewish schools to a ceremony held on the Bodrum shores. The location was chosen strategically as it was the location where the drowned Syrian toddler was found. The ceremony included an opening speech, keynote speech and prayer session for about 30 students, their teachers and parents, all of different faiths.
