Hospital Visit in Holguín
On the national level, Cuba’s Day of Prayer and Action event is held in an oncology hospital in Holguín. A Quaker pastor and her congregation will visit patients to meet, pray and act to improve the quality of life for children suffering from cancer.

DPAC was celebrated with sick children of the Pediatric Oncological Hospital “Octavio de la Concepción y de la Pedraja”.
The event took place in the theater of the hospital and was led by The Church of the Quakers, together with several other churches of the city, the Cuban Association of Artisans and Artists (ACAA), and the Municipal Office of Culture with its Movement of Arts and Sports Instructors.
The sick children, accompanied by their parents, lived moments of joy and fun, watched theatre plays, listined to music and enjoyed the performance of clowns that spread color and love to all the children.
