Nationally Televised Discussion on Prevention of Violence Against Children

UNICEF in partnership with The National Body on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting will host a series of nationally televised roundtable discussions on child rights. The series airs on the IRIB’s Channel 2 (i.e. the children and family channel) and will reach millions of viewers. Policy makers, religious leaders and experts in the field of child protection participated in the first roundtable to promote advocacy and national dialogue on child rights and the prevention of violence against children.
