In Colombia, UNICEF, together with the Global Network of Religions for Children, focused engagement with religious communities on addressing domestic violence as well promoting birth registration and positive parenting. Activities included supporting a conference on positive parenting practices as well as engaging local media to help raise awareness. A key initiative included working with children from the Global Network of Religions for Children to develop a communications and mobilization strategy for them to use throughout the year that included the creation and use of Facebook and twitter accounts.
