In Matanzas, DPAC was celebrated in the Community Centre Abraham Lincoln with children coming from poor and marginalized sectors, in a foster home for orphans, and in three marginalized neighborhoods (La Marina, Los Mangos and Simpson), reaching up to 154 children and 73 adults.

All the events involved the use of arts and drama to raise awareness on child protection related issues, and included a spiritual interfaith moment of prayer and the donation of school material for poor children.
