This special briefing at the United Nations entitled: “Stop Violence Against Children Through Positive Parenting.”

This panel will discuss principles of positive parenting, its relationship to child development, and will identify ways in which positive parenting can prevent or reduce violence against children. This panel will also highlight the role of the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children as a global movement to mobilize secular and religious communities in support of positive parenting. New resources from UNICEF and the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children will be shared.

This special briefing is organized under the auspices of the Permanent Mission of Chile to the United Nations.
