Workshops on Violence in Schools

Students of varied faiths and backgrounds in Bucharest, Bistrita, Reghin, and Craiova participated in workshops called “Conflicts and Violence Around Us.” The goal of these workshops was to promote a better understanding of the causes and consequences of violence among students. Through the workshop, the children learned to deal with cultural differences and resolve conflicts without violence. Refugee students in attendance felt that the activity facilitated their adjustment in Romanian Schools.

The workshop results were disseminated by Romanian Committee for UNESCO to the Gaudeamus International Book Fest, Bucharest, 2016.
