In Honduras, with UNICEF involvement, churches throughout the country focused Sunday church services on 20 November on the importance of education and the prevention of violence against children; priests spoke to their parishioners about the advances made nationally to respect children’s rights and emphasized the role played by education; and the weekly publication of the Catholic Church distributed to all churches included 10 key messages about the care and protection of children with a focus on education.
