Activities for the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children with support from the UNICEF country office of Mozambique.
Activity Recap
In Mozambique, UNICEF hosted a roundtable discussion in October on the role of religious communities to protect children within the region and globally with Government and civil society participation to develop a common position for engaging religious communities. Subsequently, UNICEF held initial meetings with the Christian Council, Council of Religions and Universal Church of the Kingdom of God to further engage these groups in the protection of children from violence.
