World Day Observance in British Virgin Islands

In the Virgin Islands (UK), with UNICEF support, the government, through its Social Development Department, with UNICEF support, will use the radio calling programme “Almanac” to discuss issues around child abuse on 19-20 November. Further, the government has written to all churches inviting them to use the DPAC to address the issues of violence against children in their sermons. Radio stations will equally be invited to start their broadcast with prayers and to focus the day on discussing violence against children.
