Youth Camp

In the Indian state of Kerala, the faith-based Hindu organization Balagokulam is marking the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children and Universal Children’s Day with two-week youth leadership camps hosting more than 10,000 children aged 12-18 across the state.

Campers will participate in sessions discussing child mortality and other related subjects. There will also be a special workshop for women youth organizers, aged 18-30, in which medical/paramedical and health experts will explain the importance of breastfeeding and other health issues.
