Stop Violence Against Children Youth Activity Day

The main objective of the CPCJ (Comissão de Protecção de Crianças e Jovens) program is to: create awareness, empower and discuss with parents and children about the problems that affect children and families, the roots causes and to develop competencies, attitudes and skills conducive to positive parenting.

On the 20 of November in various schools, schoolteachers and the CPCJ team will work with children to educate them on child rights and stopping violence against children with emphasis on breaking down stereotypes and promoting communication across cultural and social lines. This event will include instruction from the Learning To Live Together manual and will be the first day in a two day series of implementing the Strengthen the Family System project.
